Baldoni Contemporary Art & Design

About the gallery

Baldoni Contemporary Art & Design, formerly River House Arts, is a contemporary art gallery in the historic Secor Building in downtown Toledo, Ohio. River House Arts opened in 2009 and has spent more than 17 years championing contemporary artists from the Great Lakes region and presenting their work to national audiences. The gallery’s program is built on long-term commitment to the artists it works with, extending to the legacies of mid-century regional figures. Its work with California artist Clay Walker led to the Toledo Museum of Art’s acquisition of his 11 foot woodcut, Life of Christ, bringing the piece to Walker’s hometown.
