Good Mother Gallery
Alexis Trice

About the gallery
Good Mother Gallery got its start in Oakland in 2014, built by artists with a simple idea: do things their own way and make space for artists they believe in. Now rooted in Los Angeles, the gallery brings together an eclectic mix of emerging and established artists from California and beyond. Along the way, artists who have exhibited with Good Mother have found their way into major institutional collections, including SFMOMA, the de Young Museum, and the Pérez Art Museum Miami. More than a decade in, Good Mother still trusts its instincts, supports the work that resonates, and keeps things moving without overthinking it.
