Beauty Within HAVOC.

About the artist
With over four decades of metalworking experience, Bruce R. MacDonald has transformed his mastery of stainless steel into a singular exploration of light, perception, and dimensionality. Through meticulous polishing, brushing, and abrasion, he creates luminous wall sculptures that appear to transcend their two-dimensional surfaces, shifting and evolving with the movement of the viewer. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, celestial phenomena, and the invisible forces that shape our universe, his work exists at the intersection of art, science, and optical illusion. Working from his studio in Burlington, Vermont, MacDonald continues to push the boundaries of material and perception, using reflected light as both his medium and his muse.
