About the artist
Beom Jun (b. 1985) is a South Korean contemporary artist who holds an MFA in Intermedia Art from Kookmin University. Through his distinctive paintings that layer archetypal imagery of nature, including mountains, oceans, and the cosmos, he explores the relationships between presence and absence, time and space, and the finite and infinite, constructing multidimensional landscapes through the repeated accumulation and removal of color that blur the boundaries between reality and imagination, the material and immaterial. His notable exhibitions include a solo exhibition, State of Infinity (2025), at SPACE776 Seoul, a solo exhibition at Hakgojae Art Center (2025), and exhibitions at Sehwa Museum of Art (2020), Busan Museum of Art (2018), and Jeju Museum of Contemporary Art (2017), as well as presentations in New York and London. He has further expanded his international presence through participation in major international art fairs, including EXPO CHICAGO 2026 and VOLTA BASEL 2026.
